Wow what a freakin loss. I knew he shouldn't have rushed to get back. Back Surgery is no joke! Especially the position he plays in Football...

    Huge blow for the Texans.

Too bad we've got no depth.

    Godspeed, Mr. Watt.

He never should have ****ing been put out there this damn soon! They should have treated him much more carefully. Incompetence allowing him to go back out there!

It was obvious early in the Patriots game. No training camp, rushing him back (not that he would say no)....I feel horrible for JJ, and place major blame on the Texans organization. This is Big Bob revealed for those who didn't get it....Just brutal.

Mercilus and Clowney should be more than enough to replace this year's version of Watt. If we ever get anything from Clowney, it has to be this year. He has all the opportunity to live up to that #1 Pick. I wouldn't throw in the towel on this season just yet.

Texans defense should still be more than capable without JJ.

Not a curse. It was stupidity by the organization. What did they think was going to happen with no time to recover, and this isn't with 20/20 hindsight.

Ugh and it was obvious he wasn't himself, beyond being rusty. Awful news :(

Hopefully he will be ready for a big playoff push. Clowney Whitney Cush Bmac and Simon will hold up until then.

They're both great players but I imagine their impact on the field will largely be negated by Watt's absence and ability to command a double team. But yes, it's definitely time for Clowney to earn his rep.

Honestly, I ain't even mad. This is on JJ and the coaches. Rushing back from a back injury was stupid from the jump. Not surprising at all.
