23 million, one year. A good vet deal for the 76ers. Thanks to the East becoming pure trash, they could actually make the playoffs this upcoming season.
Good decision. Someone on reddit said he has "only" made something like 44M his whole career. Cash in this year. Then ring cause next year. Perfect.
First, I'm like dammit b/c he would have been nice off our bench. Then, the price... WITELT (... in the ever loving...) I could see that for two years, but maybe I'm missing something? Also, Blake Griffin's going to have a pretty fun season. LOL.
Wow. Sixers are smart. They knew reddick was going to get that much in maybe two years. They retain cap flexibility and they add a shooter for the season that they desperately need.
Since it's just one year it doesn't hurt them at all, they had the cap to spend so it may as well be on a veteran like this to help spread the floor for Fults and Embiid...oh and Ben Simmons I guess lulz, so many elite prospects on that team.
Man, that's James Harden money for one season! Maybe next offseason when he gets tired of being on loser squads he can come to Houston on MLE.
I would rather pay Redick $20 million than Ryno. At least we would get a consistent shooter and not some road-only juju.
Good deal for both sides. Redick cashes in double-time for one year and the Sixers are players in the FA market next year.
It's basically a MLE for three years but he'll get all the money in one season, not bad for him, next year he would still get MLE money from someone i think.
I'm just glad the competitive balance is finally shifting back to the Eastern conference with this move!
