They don’t know after an MRI? Trying to decide between the quick fix or not?

    Three things on the table.

    Micro fracture surgery
Artho snip which potentially creates bone on bone issues down the line.
Or out for the season to preserve long term health

    Thibs doing it again.....
Seriously though, Butler should shut it down and begin his road to recovery...hopefully without surgery...

Butler sat out of the all star game for rest.

He’s probably going to go with his long term health.

Isn't this what Barkley had with us and he sat out awhile but then played through the pain?

If these are the only choices, it's clearly #3 because he has another near-max contract to sign in a year or two.

Jimmy is due for his mega contract next year. He's gonna shut it down.

Didn't Pat tear his meniscus then come back to play in a few weeks with us?

    Can't it just be rest?

Or was "rest" a cleverly disguised "I don't wanna get hurt in some bs all star game?

Damn, Wolves are ****ed. Maybe good to temper the expectations a bit for the fan base and perhaps Thibs will learn from it.

    Glad it wasn't worse.

Jimmy can return before the playoffs.

The ASG is an interesting coincidence. Hmmmmm
