The Rockets didn't like Adelman's direction, so they hire somebody less qualified with not even 1/10 the credentials? No wonder we're the worse ran franchise in the league

i love adelman, but truth be told, he only cares about himself and not rockets future plans. he's not a bad guy but just not what the rockets need right now. rick is the man you call when you already have a championship roster. but if you do't have one, he's not going to let you build one.

k-mac understands the nuances of roster building and planning for the the future. therefore he is the better choice at this point in time. plus he has championship rings and is a good big-man coach.

adelman didn't like the rockets direction. rockets didn't care what is adelmans direction. he is not owner or gm of rocket.

if adlemn wants to be gm, he should apply for gm job. if he wants to be owner, he should buy a team.

otherwise, adelman should find a new team where he likes the gm. he would be happier that way.

i want rick to be happy. why you no want rick happy ??????

Kevin McHale doesn't have a guy named Olajuwon on the team so I doubt this is Rudy T 2.0.

I think it's fair to compare their leadership roles, though. Rudy T was great at keeping everyone team-focused, together, and believing. Players respected and related to him, and that was his greatest strength as a coach. McHale may well play a similar role on this team, even though he doesn't have the championship-caliber talent that Rudy did originally.
