    Rockets still had many chances to win despite Lin's bad play so I don't think he's the only reason.

    It must pain you to realize that there are fans in this world who don't just blindly accept mediocrity and make petty excuses at every turn. Jeremy Lin has statistically been the worst playoff performer this year, and it's not even that close. If you're happy with that, fine, you're very much welcome to feel as you please. Just don't expect every Lin fan to be the same way.

    My thoughts exactly! :grin:
    Why don't we all just concur that he had minimal impact on the results of this game and leave him alone to heal.

    Hasn't he been hurt for most of the series? Just asking I haven't watched every game.. when did he get hurt?

    Nah, although I was tempted to booze up after watching the end of this game.

    This is so true. A lot of us want Lin to develop and succeed ; making excuses for his poor performance all the time doesn't really help. Dude seriously needs to train a LOT in the summer.

    First game was his first ever playoff game. Looked intimidated.
    Second game he was hurt before half time. But looked good before that.
    Third game, he was playing hurt.

    Statistically he doesn't look good, but it's what it is. Not meant to be his series.

    You need to stop using plus or minus you are better than that. The lead ballooned because the rockets were in foul trouble. I don't even think Lin caused any of those fouls. It was the refs against guys like Beverly, Omer, Harden etc. We lost because of lack of talent & experience that is all. Let's be sensible.

    I'm not on here blaming one player for our losses. Never have, unlike some of you.

    growing pains man.. the whole team is going through it. It was to be expected no matter how good of a chance was perceived to be had on paper against any opponent. You guys should feel happy about having the youngest team in the league make the playoffs wit subpar coaching.

    If any game comes down to a possession or two in the final minutes the game is there to be won and you can't go back to quarters 1, 2, or 3 or even the first half of quarter number 4 and throw players under the bus. The game was there to win and the guys that were out there were good enough to win the game. But the thing is you have to learn how to win in the playoffs... you can't jump to the front of the line.

    If we want to look back, other players should be less injury prone so that we can have a better record to avoid OKC. Lin is the one played every game in regular season.

    Some twitter updates

    @Jonathan_Feigen 7h

    Rockets 'practice' more of a meeting with shooting after. Lin did not shoot.

    @Jonathan_Feigen 7h

    Lin will be a game-time decision again.

    @Jonathan_Feigen 7h

    On whether to allow Jeremy Lin to play with injury, McHale said 'That's a big decision for us.'

    @JasonCFriedman 7h

    Rockets just had film session, informal workout today. Smith feeling better, J-Lin receiving more treatment for chest injury.

    He was dribbling up the court with his left hand and winced everytime he shot the ball. I doubt a day of rest can really help. He needs to sit next game no matter how much he wants to play.
