Your 15 minutes of fame is up.
    If it's over, it's over.
Only a select few get to go out on their time, their terms.

    Surprised at the reaction/support.
I guess Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Kenneth Faried, J.R. Smith, Jamal Crawford, Devin Harris, Iman Shumpert, Thabo Sefolosha, Lance Stephenson, Vince Carter, Corey Brewer, Luol Deng, Michael Beasley, Joakim Noah and countless others should put out a video/statement that the "NBA has given up on #metoo".

Jeremy had a nice run and lived his dream. He made millions and was a member of a championship roster. His fans are delusional enough to be disappointed and blame others but Jeremy should go overseas and keep cashing checks. Play ball professionally as long as you can.

Y'all called Melo washed up & terrible after 10 games, but sympathize with Lin, who's sucked pretty much his whole career.

I don't think anyone is saying he is not washed up and terrible. I think most people just feel worse for Lin because he is viewed as someone who worked his way up from being nothing to being in the NBA whereas Melo was a superstar from Syracuse who made significantly more than lin and his biggest downfall now is that he is unwilling to just be a role player who adapts his game to todays NBA

From NBA Finals MVC (Most Valuable Cheerleader) to being washed out of the league in a month. That has to be quicker than the rise and fall of Linsanity.

His buddy Chandsome may be joining him out the door soon along with Dwight.

More like 6-8 years of mediocrity. 2012 started Linsanity.

The wonder years of the Harden era. Before the pressure of championship expectations.

He ain’t that old. Everyone gets to remake themselves. Fool just won a ring. A star? He may not be anymore. He already got his 15mins and as an Asian dude - since Yao - that’s unprecedented. He can work on that three point shot though. Can’t live in the past.

I'm sorry but this is just cringe to me.

His fans paying money to see him on stage and he's up there crying about how hard life is? C'mon now.

I wouldn’t mind the Rockets signing him to be the third PG. I’d rather have him than some unproven youngster. The only down side would be the constant “Free J Lin” posts/threads on CFs.

Idk why this dude is so polarizing... well really i do, its about ethnicity...

Aside from the Linsanity run he didnt deserve the praise and attention from those heaping it...

But by all accounts he's a decent upstanding guy who didnt deserve all the negativity and abuse thrown by others...

too bad we live in a world where people feel the need to be so extreme... smh...

    I blame the ball.
Because Jeremy always perfectly passes it to his teammates and perfectly shoots it

Except the ball didn’t want to do what he told it to do

    I mean, yeah.

At this point he's not a veteran that can bring something to your team (Like shooting) and he's not 22 anymore so people won't assume potential.

He never had an elite skill, not defense or playmaking or shooting, he just sort of got by on agility and quickness that he doesn't have anymore to get by NBA defenders and so at the very best he's solid depth, 3rd or 4th PG.
