Delete the trolls. Why should we drop a thread because some fake Rockets fans come in a break all the forum rules?

The Nets are definitely missing Lin. Other than the game against Cleveland, they have looked sloppy, undisciplined, and unorganized. Russell is not ready to lead the team.

I have to admit that losing Lin seem to be a huge blow to the Nets chances to improve and be a playoff team this season. Russell is better than Lin but he's not have the smarts and leadership skills that Lin gives them.

He didn't lead them to the playoffs last year so what makes you think he would hypothetically do it this year?

The weak east will allow a team with 35 to 40 wins to be the 8th seed. Without lin the nets will win 25-30 games this season and with lin 35-40 games.

    I don't believe in predictions.
Last year the Nets were the worst team in the league. Lin was part of that team.
The unknown is when Lin is back will he be the same player?

Yep...in any case Lin must be one of the most disappointing NBA player ever....I say this because after all the blow up of his linsanity time with the knicks it's been one fail after another.

Depends on how you define success. I define it by how much a player contributes to the team's success.
Team success for someone who has seen his team win a title twice is different than someone who hasn't. The Nets made it to the Finals with Jason Kidd, so a die hard Nets fan should judge their point guard to the standard of at least Jason Kidd.
