I just hate that this is the only highlight shown from the game last night on SportsCenter. So the Parson's dunk doesn't make it, or any of the John Wall fast break manuevers?

Before I saw the dunk I was on Flip's side, but now...err, I don't know what he was mad about. Dude was all alone on the court, I thought he did his stunt with several defenders around him. This reminds me of Ben Wallace being forced to take off headband...rules just for the sake of rules.

Why r yall overeacting. The chance of him missing that dunk is probably equal to the chance of him missing a layup

That was worth the cost of admission for Wizard fans.

Eh, when he did it I laughed. If it had been at Houston he would be an idiot, one you're team blows, two you don't want to piss off the crowd early in the game, nor your opposing team.

However, it was in Washington on MLK day...give the fans something to cheer about. Wasn't a little bit after Parson's dunk? He was prolly butt hurt from that. Speaking of, can't remember if it was Inside the NBA or Sportcenter, but the game highlights featured the self alley from the losing team, and not the rookie tip slam. Who picks which plays to show on game highlights? I want his job. I want him fired, excommunicated, exiled, and castrated. Too far? No because this happens far too often. And the sportcasters talk about the game as if they didn't even see anything. "This was a really great night for Kobe, he put up 26 - 7 - 5, just a beast. Decent line, except he went 4-21 and got most of his points at the line.

Do your job and watch the games.

McGee is getting bad rep for playing in such a bad team. A team with strong leadership could teach him how to play the game. The Wiz will not be that team.

Or maybe just maybe he can work harder, set an example and become a leader and develop a good rep.

Oh wait we're talking about Javale McGee not a young Tim Duncan.

I think just the combination of showboating and the possibility of turning the ball over or missing the dunk is what caused the reaction.

I'm understanding you, as people take this game way too seriously. Who cares for "HE"S NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT, IT"S SO HORRIBLE" crowd. You would've thought he tried to throw a baby off the backboard and dunk it.

It was flashy, yet an instinctual move. I did not see anything wrong with, regardless if they were winning or losing.

This is not the military, it's a damn NBA game.

LOL. Pretty sure it was just a selfish "look at me" move. That's all McGee really cares about.

Showboating? What could possibly go wrong?

It's no big deal under normal circumstances. But I can understand why the coach using it to teach discipline for a piss poor young team.

Flip Saunder probably talked to him last year about cutting that stuff out. That's why he was angry when he did the self-alleyoop in this game.
