Gasol DONE FOR THE SEASON http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/18514512/san-antonio-spurs-pau-gasol-breaks-left-hand
The loss to the Heat, blowing leads against Memphis and losing in Minny are going to hurt because if had taken care of business we would have caught up and taken the number 2 seed.
Without Gasol Rox will catch the Spurs in my opinion...if not Rox someone will...no way spurs keeping 2nd seed with Gasol sidelined
Actually Gasol is done for the season but out indefinitely...jumped the gun wearing rocket goggles but still a major blow nonetheless... Pau Gasol out indefinitely after fracturing a bone in his hand Gasol will likely miss at least a month, and maybe more. by Tim Cato@tim_cato Jan 19, 2017, 9:33pm EST TWEET SHARE PIN REC Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports Pau Gasol is out indefinitely after fracturing the fourth metacarpal in his left hand during warmups on Thursday. It’s an unlucky break for the 36-year-old Spurs big man, who is having a quality season in a smaller role. Despite averaging career lows in minutes (26.4) and points (11.7), Gasol is shooting 51 percent from the field, 46.5 percent from the three-point line, and rebounding nearly eight boards per game. A fractured metacarpal is a common injury in the NBA, and recovery time usually varies based on whether the player has to undergo surgery. A few players have missed an entire season with a metacarpal injury, but others have returned between 28 and 57 days after the operation. If Gasol doesn’t need surgery, then his return could be less than four weeks or potentially more than eight. Here’s a good look at the injury and its recovery time. Gasol’s absence will likely push Dewayne Dedmon into the starting rotation, but there’s a good chance LaMarcus Aldridge or even David Lee will shift over to center in a small ball lineup to soak up minutes. http://www.sbnation.com/2017/1/19/14332494/pau-gasol-injury-spurs-fracture-metatarsal-hand-timetable
It should've been Westbrook & Harden, the voting is weird and I don't know how Curry made it based on all those non-fan votes.
http://www.nba.com/video/2017/01/19/20170119-inside-nba-reserves Possible reserves in the West: M.Gasol, Westbrook, Klay Thompson, Draymond, DM Cousins Maybe: CP3, DeAndre Jordan (Hayward, McCollum, Mike Conley Jr.,KA Towns.......)
Pau Gasol loss isn't as big as people may think. They're not going to just go into a slump. It's the spurs, people should know by now to not underestimate them. They adjust accordingly and still have two of the top players in the league
don't think that would define them as a bad team though. They are still right there in the mix with the best teams in the league
if you're actually averaging a triple double to this point those results shouldn't be surprising as far as players/media. By seasons end he likely won't be so it'll take care of itself so long as houston is winning and harden is healthy
