Im guessing you missed what Westbrook said at the end of the game yesterday. And not only that, but when Russell was asked if he and Durant were on talking terms, his reply was simply "Nah". They may amend things with eachother in the future, but right now they're definitely not friends. They didn't even make eye contact or shake hands in their 2 matchups this season

Lol yeah I'm sure all these nba players just tell the truth right all the time. Don't be so gullible. Again it's not that serious. Believing this is some kind real life soap opera is pretty funny

you don't think that its that serious? I mean Westbrook probably feels like kevin durant leaving completely altered the path of his entire career. These guys take their careers pretty seriously

It is serious. This is their basketball careers we're talking about. Durant and Westbrook were teammates for nearly a decade, and Durant leaves him for a team that barely beat them in the WCF. They were a few inches away from being in the finals for the 2nd time and potentially winning a ring. You don't think Westbrook would mad at him for that? C'mon now.

This isn't the WWE where literally everything is faked for entertainment.

The Media gave Westbrook 93 votes and Harden 91...will this mirror how the MVP vote goes?

Nope not to the point where people want to believe they're legit enemies that hate each other. People need to realize the nba especially when talking about the best players in the league have a bond just through that alone. Whether or not you want to believe there's legit enemies at the end of the day is up to you. But seeing relationships more often than not off the basketball court says a lot more then just entertaining the average fan.

Not at all. All-star game is all about entertaining the fans, and Westbrook has always been exciting in the past all-star games.

Shaq and Kobe are an example. They legitimately disliked each other for a few years

And at the same time as nba players they understand the business aspect of it. This "drama" bw two former teammates is not the first and it won't be the last. Again it's entertainment because the public has nothing else better to do than to make a story out of it and let people eat it up

I'm confused. The fans are the ones who voted him out.

Obviously the public will stretch the story but there's no denying that Russell doesn't like KD.

KD doesn't seem to be angry about it because he's the one who left for an ATG team, meaning he has a great chance to win a ring. Russell, on the other hand, doesn't really have a chance.

Westbrook has plenty of haters too. Most of them are Warriors fans, and we alllll know how big their bandwagon is.

Russ persona allows him to be portrayed that way. He even shows dislike towards his teammates on a nightly basis. But the easy story is he hates kd

RED NATION STAND THE **** UP, WE DID THIS!!! You should all be proud of yourselves. And it doesn't matter if Westbrook steals the ASG mvp as long as James gets the one that matters, the one in June...

He should direct his wrath towards Curry, of course, not Harden.

Curry is the MOAT (most overrated of all time).

Okay, I'm really confused now. How TF does NBA ALLSTAR voting really work?

My understand was that the fan vote counted for 50%, then 25% for the Media vote, and 25% for the players vote.

Here is the west vote totals:

    Fan Vote:
    Curry 1,848,121
    Harden 1,771,375
    Westbrook 1,575,865

    Media Vote:
    Westbrook 93
    Harden 91
    Curry 6

    Players Vote:
    Westbrook 167
    Harden 149
    Curry 63

So HTF does Curry get in as a starter if the Media and Players Vote counts for 25% each? I don't see any type of "weighted" math that makes sense enough for me for Curry to get in as a starter if the Media and Players vote is supposed to count for 50%. That's some BS.

Also noted, Harden has some work to do for MVP if the Media has anything to say about it...or the players.

The media vote definitely leads me to believe that harden won't get that award if Westbrook finishes with a triple double

Don't know why you're fighting it so hard. They are human beings and have feelings too. Everything is not made up.

    Feelings matter bro.
