instead of a step-back and shoot, Beard could do a fake "step back" like he's about to shoot (Franchise did it a lot) to get the defender in the air. That'll basically give him a nice red carpet to the basket and probably an and-1.

Scary what kind of offensive options he has. Even I probably couldn't guard him.

Yes he does, that is what make it a step back.

If you watch in slow motion, you'll see. He plants his right foot just inside the free throw line. Then steps back to the free throw line.

I'm glad the Rockets won, I'm at Clutchfans at 4:30am for a reason. That said, I've watched the shot enough to know the Rockets got a break.

If what you said was true, then it wouldn't be a travel, but he absolutely does move his right pivot.

    Lol wait.. what?

You'd get cooked, roasted. NBA talent can't guard him, you don't have a snow balls chance bro.

You sound like that guy at 24 hour fitness who think he should be in the pros, but noooo lol

You might want to watch it some more because he didn't travel.
    He was obviously joking.

No, you guys don't know this but Jontro is a defensive ace. He was being serious.

Dude may be just barely 6 feet tall, but he has an 8-foot wingspan and mad quick feet. He is kind of like a gorilla actually, (but a nice one... until he's playing defense).

I kind of like his stepback having a nickname. It is slightly lame, but it's better than nothing lol.

The stepdaddy! Abusing kids like a mean stepfather.

(Note: I absolutely do not condone child abuse in any way, shape, or form, but Harden is out here "sonning" fools)

I know Harden must be real frustrated that the refs swallowed the whistle on a clear foul.

What I hope Harden takes away from it is in that situation, he needs to look to shoot outside the paint. His step back shot is so ridiculously good and automatic -- that should be his signature clutch shot.

Driving to the basket and hoping for a call is just not reliable in crunch time and especially so in the playoffs.

B-Bob, your fur fixation strikes again. Anyone who paid attention would describe Jontro as a small 4 legged spider with hops and a decent handle, a handle used primarily for personal gratification. Not a gorilla. Careful, or KC will get jealous. Then the lad will really have to play defense!
