James Harden surprised the girls Rice University basketball team with new shoes

Are basketball shoes unisex or do the Harden shoes have a female version? I dont buy basketball sneakers so im clueless on this.

 

Bball shoes are unisex. Stuff like tennis/running etc shoes are split.

 

Most female college basketball and soccer players wear men's shoes. My daughter who plays select soccer at the middle school age even wears men's cleats because there are are more options and they fit better.

One thing I will say about Harden is he has a good heart.

I know he had a great relationship with Sampson when he was coaching the Rockets, but it's VERY cool that since he went over to UH that he has supported his program (in numerous ways) along with gestures like this with Rice.

When you're rich and famous countless people are trying to put their hooks in you, and the most precious asset he (or anyone else has) is their time and yet he's gone to numerous UH games since he's been here in Houston.

You can also tell his generosity is genuine.

 

James Harden is a legit pillar of the community. He goes out of his way to support our local universities and schools.

 

I know its not much money to him but he dropped 1 million dollars to the city after harvey. No other houston athlete even came close to that.

Houston has a good one and he knows he is embraced here

 

His hs coach coaches at rice to be closer to him. They got a pretty good relationship.

 

Face it. He likes Rice, better.
