It's not about who's better. We all know that Curry is the better pure shooter. Harden is stronger and can finish much stronger than Curry. He's a better slasher. It's insane that Harden takes more 3pt fg attempts than someone who people almost unanimously consider the greatest shooter of all time. When you are taking more 3pt fg attempts than the greatest shooter of all time, you are taking bad shots. Also Harden and Steph are similar caliber players. It's not an insult if people think Curry might be slightly better than Harden and vice versa.
It's a "bad style" if you are taking more three pt shot attempts than the greatest shooter of all time ever did in any given season. Harden needs to focus more on slashing and moving without the ball for a more sustainable offense that doesn't go on massive droughts in the playoffs and in many regular season games where teams routinely come back from 20pt deficits.
I disagree. I think Curry should be taking way more threes. Curry not optimizing his shot selection has nothing to do with Harden.
