The woman hosting that panel threw some really unnecessary drama in at the end there. Out of nowhere "we know Russ is OK with it now, but let's see how he feels in a few months." It's almost like she felt like she had to end that overwhelmingly pro-Harden segment with a negative note.
IMHO Nick Wright is the best sports analyst working today in any sport. He is going to carry the torch for Harden all season long and because of that, more people in the media will come around to his way of thinking. He made some VERY authoritative comments in this vid and backed them up with impossible to argue facts and data. My favorite line of reasoning (slight paraphrasing): People like to say that any number of players could do what Harden is doing if they just took more shots. Harden has made half a billion dollars in endorsements and contracts and made his team into a winner playing this way. It's impossible to argue with the results. So if anyone can do what Harden is doing, then they SHOULD do it. And if anyone could do what Harden is doing, they would be stupid (based on Harden's results) not to do it. The reason no one is doing it is because, they can't.

Why did Cris Carter have to go and do whatever bad thing he did? Vincent Goodwill was a nobody and now we have to see him playing "Dumb Harden Hater variant 5489.45" on TV all the time.
Even if the excuse is they can launch threes tightly guarded no one has the conscience nor greenlight to do it. Howbout just try driving to the paint 25 times a game first.

People really don't seem to understand that Harden drives more than any other guard in the NBA. That's why he gets fouled, he can get past his man and drive at will most nights. People really think he just chucks threes, that's really him at his worst, when he does nothing but step back.
they seems to be mesmerized by his beard and eerily similarity with osama bin laden no reasoning helps there.. they would have absolutely loved him if he were to look like other nba players
yeah but harden always shoots around 14 threes with 24 drives every game his threes are essential to the rockets offensive success.. spacing for his drives, russels drives, others threes and drives, etc..

Inconsistent opinions are a sign of weakness and hating. A host on NBA Radio just said if Houston finishes ahead of LAC, Harden should *not* get MVP due to Kawhi's load management. Same guy didn't give two sh1ts about the exact same situation last season by proclaiming Giannis as MVP because Bucks had the best record. Only two damn games separated MIL-TOR.
That is definitely some schizophrenic reasoning there working hard to not give Harden the credit for the beast he truly is.
