    If MVP doesn't go to him, would MIP be an acceptable consolation award?

    It seems like MIP is only considered for players who go from bad/decent to good/really good.

    Why can't it go to someone who goes from superstar to super-duper star?

    I mean he's going from not making an All-NBA team last year to competing in a very close MVP race this season. That's a lot of improvement but, that's none of my business.

    media will never give Harden this award...they'll say that Harden didn't really improve, D'antoni's system has inflated his stats
