What’s crazy is I don’t even care about that. Russ does something to Harden. If Russ brings out this 40ppg scorer shooting 50% from the field and 40% from three since the slow 5 game start. Not to mention his turnovers are down that’s great. if harden is playing and shooting this well nobody is beating us. Only team i worry about is the Bucks. They seem to have hardens number. we will worry about them in the finals. finally no GS Durant monster in our way. True but to win a championship your best player has to be at his best and Russ has brought out the best harden. I’m not a Russ fan at all you can look back at my posts about Russ but he does do something for harden and it’s very positive. If harden is at his best I think we can beat anyone because imo harden at his best is better than anyone in the game.
well you can also win when your depth steps up bc your best player being at his absolute best every single night isn't likely. There isn't a player that exists that has done that. harden hasn't been at his absolute best ever in the playoffs every single game. the rockets just lacked the depth to make up for it. They had it in 17-18 but we know how that sadly came to a halt
imo your depth can carry you in spots but your best player has to be at his best to win a title. we’ll see if this is the year. I’m very optimistic that it is. theirs no GS anymore so there should be no excuses this year from the fans and the hate harden receives will Be warranted.
