Less responsibilities creating due to Paul leads to more energy on that side. He was never bad mechanically just lazy
He has always been decent in iso defense, PnR defense and postup defense. It’s off the ball defense losing track of his defender while not assisting in help defense of a co-players man (ball handler) that Harden has struggled badly on in the past 4 years. He has really improved in that area of away from the ball defense. Coaches and players have helped him a lot by communicating and getting after him to improve on that. Fewer lapses seen this year.
That was such a good video until I realized This guy has no clips of Harden's "Defining MVP Moment". How can you not put that clip in there when the video is about Harden and the MVP? He just recycled the first game of the season.
I've always said that he has more to work with on defense than Steph by a ton. Steph is not good on defense because he physically has limitations but he tries hard so its not a big deal. Harden on the other hand has the body of a football player so the post stat to me isn't surprising. This is turning into his golden season and would really be nice to cap it with a championship, he finally deserves it.
