    Is title correct? Title makes it sound like this is just a January stat, when the OP tweet says Wilt's month of March. So, is this for any month, or just January.

    This is for any month. Harden's 43.6 PPG in January is the most of any calendar month since Wilt's month of March 1963.

    Harden should be player of the month for January. BUT the team record was 8-5. That might really hurt him there. If the don't lose to the Nets and Pelicans it would be 10-3 and be automatic.

    Wouldn't be surprised if the NBA picks Curry or Paul George based on Stats+Wins.

    NBA also likes to pass around these awards if they can. With Harden winning December POTM, I could see them looking somewhere else for January despite Harden's January numbers.

    It’s criminal how much pressure is put on his shoulders. With Paul looking done as a superstar and Gordon being so streaky he literally has no help and yet manfully toiled away to generate wins
