James Harden at 28 is better than Michael Jordan at 28

    When he was 28 he had won 1 title. Played against a team with washed up stars who were at the end of their career. there was nothing near the GSW team in that era. Harden has had to change his game because the rules changed to stop his game. Jordan used to get more fouls in 90s to up the ratings. Many referees had said that. He was also a high volume scorer and a not so great 3 pt shooter. He would be great in this era but wouldn’t win 6 rings. Jordan had Scottie freaking Pippen who in 94 was 1 game away from making the nba finals... Jordan had hands down the best team in 90s. If u put Jordan on another team with another coach he wouldn’t be so great. His greatness reflected his great teammates. Try putting Jordan on those mavs teams in that era in 90s would they even be a playoff team? I’ve watched both games. And repeatedly watch YouTube highlights i know what I’m talking about

    Jorden team would get blown out with today teams. You just dont know how good players has gotten. Rockets and GSW would beat Jordan bulls 4-0 anyday.

    Only 3 centers better than today's center ? You kidding me? Robinson, Mourning, Moses Malone, Mutombo, Parish...to name a few. That's not even mentioning Kareem or Wilt.

    I was taking about ONE era and that being 90s. You are bringing centers from 70-80s

    Ok 90s centers.
    Mourning, Mutombo, Duncan, Robinson , Sabonis , Smits , Malone, Daughtery, Wallace would destroy 95% of today's centers.

    well in the 90s we cared more about championships and defense.
    We don’t declare someone is better than a legend a few games before the all star break.

    We usually wait til a championship or two to make judgment

    Harden had another great 4th, tonight.

    Should bode well in the playoffs... which makes these conversations better in the future.

    It's so obvious, I don't even need to mention that.

    Capella is really awesome. Top western center easily. But can you imagine him guarding a prime Shaq or Dream? Can you imagine Harden playing with a prime shaq with alley oops all day?

    Not at all. Players get better with time. Better, faster, stronger. Evolution don’t work backwards. Otherwise you would be sitting in a cave right now not even having this debate.
