Jalen typically has good basketball takes, but he’s being an idiot here. A team with LeBron-Harden and CP3 has more top end talent than the Warriors. If he doesn’t want it because it makes the NBA outside of Houston and Golden State irrelevant, I get it, even though that’s basically the case now. But from a basketball perspective he’s crazy if he thinks the Rockets with LeBron, Harden and CP3 couldn’t beat the Warriors.

HOU w/ CP3 and harden beats the warriors. HOU w/ lebron and harden beat the warriors in 5. HOU w/ CP3, lebron, and harden beats the warriors in 4 boring blowouts

Don’t disagree with any of that. Surprised that Jalen would have such an idiotic basketball take though. He’s typically much more logical and level headed in his analysis.

Nobody on ESPN wants LeBron to go to Houston. It would jeopardize their Warriors dynasty narrative.

Jalen sounds like it physically hurts for him to speak. He sounds like he's reading off a prompter, always.

Harden without cp had a 17 point lead in GS and 15 point lead in Houston before the refs stepped in you add Lebron a and Paul it’s game over

Of course he doesn't want Lebron in Houston. We put the fear of God in him and the rest of them assholes in Get Up! who had counted us out when he had the Warriors in a 3-2 hole, and now they're ******** themselves at the idea we could actually finish the job the next time once we get Lebron.

Well too bad is not what jalen or anyone on the media wants. So they don’t complain anymore about the warriors being too dominant. If they keep their team like this they can win every year for 5 or 6 years with us being the only one able to challenge. Is that fun? No it’s not when you know who’s gonna win and that no other team stands a chance.

The media just loves the warriors right now coz they are located in California and near San Francisco and Silicon Valley. They don’t want any other team challenging them or taking their championship run.

Hope lebron join us or if not gp13 and dj if we can’t afford Capela and if he is willing to get a pay cut.

So yea we don’t care what jalen think bring lebron bring gp13 too ;p

Yes but the unique thing about the GSW is that if you take out one of their 4 stars due to injury, they are still equipped to whip 95% of the league teams except Houston with healthy stars and Boston perhaps.

If you take out one of our 3 stars, that is not really going to happen. (I am probably looking too far ahead.)

Because the role players I expect to look much worse than last year, there is less cap space.

It's not about what the Warriors do, but what Lebron and CP3 can do. They can end this Warriors' dominance if they want to. Just take a big paycut to keep the Rockets roster intact and you will beat the Warriors.

None of these fn goons want LBJ to come to Houston bc they know we can/will win a championship or two in the next 2-3 years.

"He can't build Golden State 2.0, there are no great options so he should just stay in Cleveland!"

I don't get that from Windhorst, Rose and whoever else. Well yeah, actually there. Certainly better than staying in Cleveland.

4 years in Miami, 2 titles. 11 years in Cleveland, 1 title. But yeah, he should totally stay in Cleveland, totally trust Dan Gilbert and the revolving door front office.

Boston is his best option, followed by the Rockets.
I don't want to hear he can't go there because Kyrie is there. Stop it. Boston checks every box. Ownership, GM, coach, shooters, high basketball IQ, big who can stretch the floor.

    Wyc Grousbeck/Danny Ainge/Brad Stevens
Kyrie Irving - Terry Rozier - Shane Larkin - Kadeem Allen
Jaylen Brown - Marcus Smart - Abdel Nader - Jabari Bird
Gordon Hayward - Jayson Tatum - Semi Ojeleye
Marcus Morris - Daniel Theis - Guerschon Yabusele
Al Horford - Aron Baynes - Greg Monroe

Free Agents: Greg Monroe, Marcus Smart(RFA), Aron Baynes, Shane Larkin

    ______________________________________________________________________

    Tilman Fertitta/Daryl Morey/Mike D'Antoni
    Chris Paul - Aaron Jackson
James Harden - Eric Gordon - Gerald Green - Markel Brown - RJ Hunter
Trevor Ariza - Luc Mbah a Moute
PJ Tucker - Ryan Anderson - Joe Johnson - Zhou Qi
Clint Capela - Nene - Tarik Black - Chinanu Onuaku

Free Agents: Chris Paul, Clint Capela(RFA), Trevor Ariza, Luc Mbah a Moute, Gerald Green, Tarik Black, Joe Johnson, Aaron Jackson(TO)

Then the Spurs & the Lakers.
    Peter Holt/R.C. Buford/Gregg Popovich
Dejounte Murray - Tony Parker - Patty Mills - Derrick White
Danny Green - Manu Ginobili - Brandon Paul - Bryn Forbes - Darrun Hilliard
Kawhi Leonard - Rudy Gay - Kyle Anderson
LaMarcus Aldridge - Davis Bertans - Matt Costello
    Pau Gasol - Joffrey Lauvergne

Free Agents: Tony Parker, Danny Green(PO), Rudy Gay(PO), Kyle Anderson(RFA), Joffrey Lauvergne(PO), Davis Bertans(RFA), Bryn Forbes(RFA)

    _______________________________________________________________________

It's Los Angeles and can bring another star (Paul George?) with him?

    Jeanie Buss/Rob Pelinka & Magic Johnson/Luke Walton
Lonzo Ball - Isaiah Thomas - Alex Caruso - Tyler Ennis - Gary Payton II
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - Josh Hart - Andre Ingram
    Brandon Ingram - Luol Deng
Julius Randle - Kyle Kuzma - Travis Wear
Brook Lopez - Ivica Zubac - Channing Frye - Thomas Bryant

Free Agents: Brook Lopez, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye, Julius Randle(RFA), Travis Wear(RFA), Andre Ingram(RFA)

    Sixers
So they'd likely lose their shooters if they were to acquire him and Fultz has a broken shot? and Simmons can't shoot but yeah, the media loves them as a destination for LeBron. As Windhorst [jokingly] said, just yeah, you know hire David Griffin, sign LeBron, win the next 11 championships! Easy peasy! I guess we're just gonna go into the 2K editor ==> 'Edit Player' Ben Simmons ==> Bump shooting ratings up ==> Save, magically pretend "Hey, Ben Simmons got a jump shot now! Ben Simmons can shoot now!"

    Josh Harris/[Open GM/Brett Brown]/Brett Brown
Ben Simmons - T.J. McConnell - Markelle Fultz - Jerryd Bayless - Demetrius Jackson
JJ Redick - Marco Belineli - Furkan Korkmaz
Rob Covington - Justin Anderson - Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot
    Dario Saric - Ersan Ilyasova
Joel Embiid - Richaun Holmes - Amir Johnson

Free Agents: JJ Redick, Marco Belinelli, Ersan Ilyasova, Amir Johnson, T.J. McConnell(TO), Richaun Holmes(TO)

    Going back to Miami
Familiarity I guess? Ain't much on that roster, a roster of overpaid journeymen. Don't see this as an option.

    Micky Arison/Andy Elisburg & Pat Riley/Erik Spoelstra
Goran Dragic - Derrick Walton Jr.
Tyler Johnson - Dwyane Wade - Dion Waiters - Wayne Ellington
Josh Richardson - Justise Winslow - Derrick Jones Jr. - Rodney McGruder
James Johnson - Luke Babbitt - Jordan Mickey
Hassan Whiteside - Kelly Olynyk - Bam Adebayo - Udonis Haslem

Free Agents: Dwyane Wade, Wayne Ellington, Udonis Haslem, Luke Babbitt, Jordan Mickey(TO)

    Last resort: Staying in Cleveland
An owner he doesn't get along with, a rookie GM(and a position the owner doesn't keep past their first contract), and a terrible roster that can't be upgraded. But at least it's home so I guess they got that going for them ... or not.

    Dan Gilbert/Koby Altman/Ty Lue
George Hill - Jordan Clarkson - Jose Calderon
J.R. Smith - Kyle Korver - Rodney Hood
    LeBron James - Cedi Osman
Kevin Love - Jeff Green - Okaro White
Tristan Thompson - Larry Nance Jr. - Ante Zizic - Kendrick Perkins

Free Agents: LeBron James(PO), Jeff Green, Jose Calderon, Rodney Hood(RFA), Kendrick Perkins(TO)

And I guess the Warriors if he wanted to do that.
They too would check all the boxes but let's be honest, no one wants to see him go there. But as Windhorst said, he doesn't care what we think. Some combo of Thompson/Iguodala, Green/Iguodala or Thompson/Green would be sent out.

    Joe Lacob & Peter Guber/Bob Myers/Steve Kerr
Stephen Curry - Shaun Livingston - Quinn Cook
Klay Thompson - Nick Young - Patrick McCaw
    Kevin Durant - Andre Iguodala
Draymond Green - Jordan Bell - Chris Boucher
Kevon Looney - JaVale McGee - David West - Zaza Pachulia - Damian Jones

Free Agents: Kevin Durant(PO), Nick Young, Zaza Pachulia, Kevon Looney, JaVale McGee, David West, Pat McCaw(RFA)
