Excellent CD. Highly recommend it. Live concert recording where he basically plays songs the audience request. You can listen to it here: http://www.jacksonbrowne.com/
We saw him when he was in the Twin Cities. Excellent show. He made a huge faux pas at the start of the show (I believe it was the first on his solo tour) where he announced he did not have a play list. That caused way too many people to hooler out requests. It was a bit annoying.
Awesome bobrek. It is annoying to hear people yell out songs, but on this CD he handles it with class and humor. I love when he tells the story about people wanting to hear Eagles songs For those of you that don't know, Jackson was an original member and co-wrote the Eagles first hit "Take It Easy" then left the band.
He was never an Eagle. He co-wrote the song with Frey, but never was a part of the band. He was briefly with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, though, and did some work with Nico (his gf at the time). His first album predates the Eagles' first (with "Take It Easy") by six months.
Maybe it was the 2 songs on their debut album "Take It Easy" and "Nightingale" that Jackson Browne wrote that had me thinking he was a member of the band.
