If we didn't have Gordon, a guy like JJ would have been a great fit, but he would have had limited run unless an injury occurred. He get's to fill a mentor/leader role on a young team and make $23Mmmilllion! Nice move J---J.

3 years. He was going to replace Gordon.

Guys if/when we acquire Melo for Anderson, don't be surprised if we trade Gordon for a young shooter on a low or rookie contract and an expiring contract.

He really is the anti-Durant because he was doing it for the money whereas KD is giving up a ton of money to stay in GSW.

But one thing they are similar on is both of them are hypocrites, KD labels his journey to a ring "the toughest road" while Reddick says it wasn't about the money as he takes more money. Like, wtf?

I have to say we don't always agree, but I've wondered the same about EG. You can replace a lot of what Eric Gordon brings with a younger, cheaper talent. (No, I don't know who, or for how much.) Plus, he might make a trade more palatable when sending Ryno on his way.

I don't want to lose EG, but the team's cap really ballooned, and you still have Clint Capela's extension looming. And Chris Paul in a year. And so forth.

can we? if we're actually building a team to be able to compete with GS, gordon is a very big piece of what you need off the bench. with the addition of KD to GS a top heavy team is no longer enough as shown by the Clev rematch this year. you need guys off your bench that can do things on their own as well
