I don't understand how anyone could even begin to question this. Yes we've had a horrible offseason. No need to go into further detail than he did, losing coach, yao, hayes, trade debacle and getting nothing but a bunch of scrap heap players that won't make the vipers.

He's right. They had a horrible offseason, and the Gasol debacle didn't help, but that wasn't the team's fault. They'll still win plenty of games and McHale won't be regretting taking the job.

I would gladly take the last ten years of success the spurs have had over ours any day.

Well hes right about YAo and Gasol scenarios being out of our control. Les let Alexander go, he was right about that too.

But we can still turn it around if we make some solid moves. But Morey will have to a lot better Jeff Adrien,Greg Smith, Lin and Taylor.

It's hard to decay when you are rotten to begin with.

I'd say we have to at least be in the discussion for the worst offseason.

Regardless of what type of offseason or season these analysts say we had or are going to have, the Rockets will still be one of the top scoring teams in the league.

Lakers charitied Odom to a rival and replaced Phil Jackson with Mike Brown.

Pretty sure their offseason was worse.

I doubt we'll lose sleep over not drafting Jeremy Tyler LMFAO.

It is hilarious how the majority of posters on this board seem to think that they would do a better job as GM and don't know jack (some of you people are seriously braindead).

You can't say Jeremy Tyler isn't a better prospect then any of these training camp centers they brought in. Don't think I'd do a better job of course. I think Dary has done fine so far. BUT he has a couple of head-scratchers like the Dorsey over DeAndre thing. Parsons over Tyler might be the another one..

You do realize that literally every GM in the league passed on Jordan right? Are you just trolling?

    Adande is a Lakers homer.

The Rockets did not have the worst offseason. That award goes to the Lakers. They lost Odom for NOTHING. They pissed of Pau Gasol. They lost Phil Jackson and replaced him with Mike Brown. They thought they were going to get Chris Paul and Dwight Howard and ended up with nothing. Worst yet, they lost Chris Paul to the Clippers. Kobe's wife files for divorce right after the 10 year period ended....

The Lakers have had about as bad an off season as a team can have. Short of Kobe dying in a fire, it cannot get much worse. They are no longer a favorite in the West.

Not that he's wrong in this case, but how the hell does Adande have a job? The dude flat out sucks.

They (Lakers) weren't the favorite in the West to begin with and that still has nothing to do with a Rockets' off season that shaped up to be much ado about nothing.

Reading is fundamental! The thread stated the Rockets had the worst off season, and I pointed out the Lakers did. Also, had Paul ended up with the Lakers, plenty of people would have viewed the Lakers as favorites.. Including nut hugger Adande.

You realize he had issues coming out of A&M and no team wanted to take a risk on him and have him in a guaranteed contract in the 1st round? He didn't do nothing to prove himself in college so why would a GM pick him in the lottery or mid first round to say, especially with he's red flags?

But that's what the 2nd round is for. Teams can take risks and he went high in the 2nd round(5th) to the Clippers who also had the 7th pick in Gordon. Regardless of what you say to back up DM, he screwed up on that one.
