I'm predicting one of the rankings will ask whether OKC has turned a corner with wins over Minny and SAS.

I don't know, I feel like Boston has earned incumbent status until someone catches up to their record. Yeah, power rankings are not cumulative but at the same time they have won 20 out of 22. I'm not going to be at all offended by a #2 ranking.

They're 20-4. Nothing wrong with the team with the league's best record being ranked #1.

They went 3-1 last week, 2-1 the week before.

Rockets are 6-0 over that time span.

Power rankings is about trending as well as cumulative record.

Rockets haven't lost in 3 weeks. Celtics have lost 2x in that span.

The Rockets have also barely played any games lately.

btw: I don't get a big significance of this stat.

One of the secrets to the Warriors' success is their off-ball movement. On chances with at least one off-ball screen, the Warriors average a league-leading 1.04 points per chance.

What does comparing the scoring ability of GSW using one+ off-ball screens to other teams' scoring ability when they also use one+ off ball achieve. Doesn't it just say they have better talent as well? Not only to finish, but for spacing to begin with. I bet their no-screen plays and their on-ball screens play efficiency is super high, too, compared to the league. I mean, thanks for the stat and all. Cool we can run numbers like that. btw: I'd be interested in the frequency of such possessions, as well as points.

It's like saying Rockets PnR scoring efficiency is so high, without mentioning that Harden is an MVP at doing it.

What was the Rockets entertainment record over that time though?

I feel like we had we had some entertainment losses over that span, which of course makes us a worse team.

In fairness to @count_dough-ku, he's been consistent in saying he prefers the #2 ranking vs the SI-Cover type jinx.

Rockets were 3-0 last week, Celtics 2-1, Warriors 3-1.

    Not enough games?
