    Why do I think the opposite. Melo gonna jack up like 8 threes a game and he is a much better shooter than Ariza.

    Damn there is a heap of sheep in this thread smh. Ennis is playing fine and I will be comfortable with him in the starting lineup. It's not like he's going to be on the floor in crunch time anyway

    Even early in the game he played well, though. I think he's going to be a great Ariza replacement.

    Start him and give him 3 year on the MLE

    He is a career dude of what 7-9 ppg scorer, what did you expect? Lou Williams with better D?

    Had decent Field Goal numbers.

    He was no Ariza and no Luc in terms of D, before the signing. He is decent at it though.

    His boxscore looks pretty nice actually. From the highlights I've seen, he looks pretty awesome.

    Is he clueless defensively?

    Yes this is crazy. Ennis only problem is he wants to play the more uptempo offense mcw is pushing opposed to Chris Paul and James Harden. Dantoni has his work cut out for him. He has got to maximize these guys talents which aint going to be easy. James Ennis is going to be really good in transition. The only problem is he plays hard out on defense he might have a tendency to lose his legs.

    He basically is average defensively and likes to run the break. Occasionaly hits 3. He may look good sometimes in our system but overall he is weak and nowhere near LMM. I feel like Morey will try to find another wing come mid season trade deadline or with MLE later on in the season. Ennis aint gonna cut it vs GSW

    But wasn't Ennis really meant as a replacement for Luc? I don't remember very many(if any) people on here saying he'd replace Ariza.

    Anyway, it's the freaking preseason, guys. And the Rockets played without PJ and Capela(who the Rockets went 42-3 with last season when he, CP3, and Harden all suited up). Try not to read too much into these games.
