I am surprised no one has posted anything about the Knight firing, but Isiah Thomas is saying he would love to hire Knight to mentor him much the same way as Tex Winter did for Phil Jackson. http://www.telebasket.com/ GO to the NBA section. ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
HOOP-T, We posted quite a bit about Knight, but in the BBS Hangout Forum since he was a college coach. http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000744.html The Isiah angle just popped up and that part goes in the NBA Dish section as you currently have it. Ahhh yes, I forget about the hangout. ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
Knigt was in Canada, but taking several calls from well wishers and "offers". He has had some surprising calls! He is also sitting back and "adjusting to my first real vacation in decades". Says he "can't stand" some of the teams he was contacted by, but he likes "some of the things" they told him. Surprisingly he talked to UNLV. Didn't they have a "motivating and revolutionary" coach in Tark at one time, and had to let him go because of " mutal respect for the game" ???????? Watch Bobby in the East. And not far from home.
Shark vs Knight. An interesting concept. Mango ------------------ 1. Put new topics in the proper forum. Things happening in the rest of the NBA 2. Use clear wording for new threads. 3.
