McHale just destroying this young man's confidence. He was a weapon when we were on the streak and has sat inexplicably on the pine during our offensive woes the past several games. McHale must have something against players wearing the number "0".
Hard to showcase a player who doesn't play. McHale did this, as well, to Brooks last year to the great detriment of the team. I have always tried to give McHale the benefit of doubt due to his storied career, but am beginning to think that there is no pot of gold at the end of his rainbow!!!
Canaan is trash. Dont know why people got hyped over this bum Rather have Lin, who would be the best PG on this team right now smh Let me see if I can get another sucker to quote me thinking im serious
yes because that worked last year with LIN. I told you in the other thread Lin does not work with Harden on the floor. Lin is just not a good player as some people including yourself make him out to be.
That's your opinion. But Lin on this team and his bloated 15 mil salary for what he contributes no thanks. Nobody cares about your posted picture you troll. You are the only fan on here claiming that Lin is better than Beverley other than the people in the Lin thread in NBA dish.
Yes....he was a legit spark off the bench, but McHale fell in love with guys like Casspi (during the regular season).
Canaan is not that talented but he tries to run some type of offense. That itself is what this team is missing. A good basketball philosophy. I told you that coach K stuff has worned out.
Gotta agree, it really feels like we could use Canaan as a spark off the bench. We also need to run a few post ups for D-Mo when Dwight is not on the floor. It's the only chance we ever get to see D-Mo do something he's fairly good at. We clearly lacked any interior presence.
Canaan hit some nice 3's in the early games. Would've been useful against the lakers. Really disappointing the likes of Garcia were getting minutes instead of Canaan. Something must be up!
The best 3P shooters so far are Bev at 43.8% and Terry at 46%. So if Mchale gives him some spot minutes like a scrub and then Canaan can't get into a rhythm. Do you cry about McHale setting him up for failure?
Yes, of course. Because he can get to the basket. It's a different skill set. Different games require different strategies. If our outside game is not working, then let Canaan partner with Harden in attacking the rim relentlessly. Especially if we don't have Howard drawing attention down low for shooters to get open. Clearly, McHale made the wrong choice. This was the game where Terry should have sat and Canaan should have played - if it's actually a choice between the two.
