I don't think there is anything wrong with looking her up, even if you do find her on FB and other social network sites. They are public and if she doesn't want you to see them you'll have to be her friend then. I would think that it becomes stalker-ish if her FB isn't private and you go to it every day to see what she posted. Or you continue looking over her pictures and such. Be careful, if you happen to run into her one day, not to use her name when you meet her if she hasn't introduced herself yet. That could go something like this :: "Accidentally" runs into girl. "Oh, I'm sorry," says girl (we'll name her Britney.) "That's okay Britney. It was totally my fault." OP walks away. Now Britney is left with the creepies and talks about you to all her friends, "I think I've got a stalker. I just ran into this guy. I don't even know his name, but he knew mine. OMG. What should I do?"
I see nothing wrong with it, its public information Its just like companies looking at potential employees' social profiles, its public info that can be looked up
When you apply for a job, you are inviting a company to look up your information. When you are simply living your life and someone starts looking up your info, that is different.
True, its public information regardless, its just how far u go to use the info you have With him just looking at a website that anyone can access and in the same building as him, doesn't scream "stalker"
lol no kidding. then again starting a thread and asking will usually lend itself to a certain type of reply.
Wouldn't need to be stalking if you introduce yourself and become friends. "Hi I'm Bob, a happily married father of 4, but you seem interesting. Coffee?"
Repeat after me: I was conducting an extensive background search before engaging with her in intimate relations. The police will buy that hook-line-and-sinker.
I've had someone stalk me during my university days, trust me your stalking game seems similar to that of Stromile Swift's basketball IQ level... nonexistent. However everyone starts off somewhere, hope you don't continue this with other timely run-ins...
as much as it pains me to agree with Kam... this is not stalker-esque but if she's hot and your available you could move to more stalker-ish activities to see if she is available
