Is this actually worse than a 1st round exit?

Are the Rockets the going to be the 1st NBA team that loses to their opponents 4 times by double digits???

I can take losing - but losing like this? The Mavs fought us harder than we're fighting the Clippers.

The way we are losing is absolutely disheartening.

When you have players playing with no heart, passion and care....i would rather lose in the 1st rd or get swept in the 2nd rd 4-0....

LOL. Cmon J Sizzle. I like you as a poster.

Its easy to see that the Clippers are just an awful match up for us. That really isn't fair. Against the Spurs we win this series decisively.

CP3 had go through a transition. From the late Hornets to the Clippers.

Understandable that would have been swept once or twice.

He also went to more 2nd rounds. And Chris Paul is not even a Top 2 player in this league.

At his best he was Top 3 behind Durant and Lebron.

They did not even have to face the best player.

If they hire a Morey type of GM the Pelicans could be potentially better than the Rockets.

'11-'12: Lost 0-4 in WC Semifinals to Spurs
'12-'13: Lost 2-4 in WC First Round to Grizzlies
'13-'14: Lost 2-4 in WC Semifinals to Thunder

This is the fourth year of the Clippers core. It takes time to gel and to win. When the Clips lost in '13, were they talking about trading away Paul and Griffin?

We're one piece away man. Whether that's internal development from D-Mo or nabbing Aldridge.

Age is not secondary at all BTW. Dwight Howard went through major injuries.

That is worrisome at the very least.

Ok. There are other FAs such as Aldridge. You could always go after them I guess and come up with an excuse each year.

That first round series was complete fools gold. We beat a bad Dallas team that got worse with their injuries. This team is not better than last years team, and I hope Les and Morey see that.

This has happened before. Hell, it happened in the Finals last year.

You're right. I went overboard there. The sadness is setting in...

I still would take the Portland series over this one. We at least looked like we cared and were capable. We just are not the team we watched for 87 games prior to this series.

You wonder what this will do to Harden's confidence or lack of it going forward.

We haven't been swept, yet the sky is falling around CF. How about we have some context on how hard it is to win.

CP3 has been consistently top 3 at his position for at least 5 years. This is a good Clippers team and it took them 4 years to reach this point....

I'm really not sure what you are arguing against or your point?

Well easily. That Portland series ended with the Rockets actually scoring more points overall.

Clippers are just playing better basketball right now. Unfortunately teams can fall into a funk and we seemed to have done that lately. Its just bad timing.

Then it is good for you if you can reset after every season with your expectations.

I am going with the team is not run very well, not as well as people thought they were.

Morey had 8 or 9 years to form a team that should not get this embarrassed in the playoffs.

It is tough for every one. I have higher expectations.

This team has talent to actually take the Clippers at least to 7.

That is why this has been disappointing because a more injured Rockets team took the Lakers to 7 in 2009.

I am not sure you watched that game series. If you do you could tell the difference in attitude and demeanor.
