WTF? Is this for real?
They need all the help they can get.
We now have our very own Rick Vaughn.
I also hear they are going to take a look at this guy
Hey great minds think alike lololol
Never mind. Just spoke to my neighbor who works for the Express. He said at first that he wasn't sure what was going on. Then he remembered that Will Farrell was supposed to make an appearance this week.
2+2=I'm a dumbass.
nicely done on the dual reference
"they got chili dogs back there?"
I don't get it. What does Ferrell have to do with this pitcher?
Will could be playing the character of "Rojo". "Rojo" might not be a real person.
The story sounds a little ridiculous..."undisclosed prison"...
I guess that is it.
Rojo is Ferrell.
Unless he pitched in the California Penal League I'll pass, just don't think he is a franchise player.
never heard of it. How'd you end up playing there?
Got to be the Ferrell thing. The only Billy Ray Johnson showing up on google is a disabled black man that brought suit against someone. My guess is it has something to do with a movie he is in.
Stole a car...
Stros would never take him....They're professionals lol
I looked up the name, too, and just finished reading an article about that black guy. He was mentally disabled and beaten up by 4 white dudes that got off the hook easy. At least his family gets $9 million which should help with the nursing home costs among other things. I'm sure that the victim and his family are scarred for life either way. Terrible story.
It does appear to be a joke. He was acquired, rather then being signed. He isn't on RR's roster, but Espisito is already on there and Cash gone, so its recently updated.
They had been advertising Ferrell's appearance this Thursday for a couple of weeks, but it's all of a sudden not on the Express website.
That would tie into the first mention of that guy I've seen online is April 24th. And lets not forget no mention of the Astros signing anyone to a minor league contract.
