27 points, 5 assists at the half.....5-7 from three plus a four point play...shooting around 60 percent from the floor. God when this guy is hot, it's unbelievable.

It's easy to get hot against Chris Duhon, who shouldn't even be on anybody's active roster, much less starting.

10-23 now, 0 points in the 2nd half. Classic WB, streaky great then streaky crap.

Don't be ridiculous. Toney Douglas can light anyone up on any given night. Just because Duhon couldn't check Douglas doesn't mean he's bad. ;)

Like I said the NBA should create a hot-n-cold contract clause for guys like Melo and WB. When they're producing like superstars they should get paid the max. But when they're causing their team to lose games with mindless chucking they should only be paid vet min. It should be a game-by-game thing, with the payment coming after every performance.

That kind of contract may never happen in the NBA unless someone with a Ricky Williams intent comes along.

Westbrook act like he's something, lol
    just one game man.
young and full of energy. that's his chance for now.
when LBJ is guarding him,he would be shut down.
what was his performance during last finals?

Pretty amazing? His stat line was like 25+ points and 5+ reb and assists. And not to knock on our star player, but it's Harden who should be criticized for their finals loss.

Westbrook is a legit All-Star. Yes, he has some maturing to do, but like you said, he is young.

And his performance during the finals was pretty damn good. Harden is the one that went MIA.

Russell Westbrook is probably one of the most talented and physically gifted players in the NBA today. But he lacks the basketball IQ to make him a complete dominant PG.

Yes he is probably the best or one of the best scoring PG in the NBA but the things he does on the court sometimes really questioned his ability to run a championship team. Tony Parker, is a championship caliber PG because he executes well, makes smart plays and doesn't get out of control. As good as Westbrook is, he often gets out of hand a lot. Even though Westbrook can get hot sometimes and goes on a tear, he still makes silly mistakes that would cost the Thunder a W. A championship team can't really afford that especially in the Finals.

One of the reasons why Harden is so important to the Thunders. James Harden controls the flow of the game much better than Westbrook, makes better decision, and help create more easy shots for both Westbrook and KD.

But I believe that when WB matures, the game will slow down to him and he will start making better decisions as time goes on. But we'll see how things will turn out for WB and the OKC

LOL, WB just stuffed Hibbert and made him look like a 80 lb weakling. Then he goes down, drills a dagger, gets a steal and drill another. Ball game.

For the record, I like Roy Hibbert. He's one of the nicest guys in the NBA. But he plays way too small for 7'2 280 lbs.

Hibbert a big disappointment damn near every year. Every year people think he is going to break out for some reason. He has regressed

Let me overkill for a second.

Coming out of Georgetown, I thought Hibbert would be a scrub. After his rookie season, he proved me right. But the next summer, he lost weight and started his 2nd season looking really good. He earned my respect and got my hopes up. But then he faded again into mediocrity. Pacers lucked out in the 1st round last year with Dwight Howard's injury and Hibbert had a couple of (for him) great games. He had two more against the Heat, including game 3 that put him on everyone's map. As a result, he became a rich man as the Blazers offered him the max, forcing the Pacers to match.

Hibbert doesn't have the athleticism or energy level to be a standout player. As a starter, the guy hasn't even averaged 30 mins/game his entire career.
