Nope, as long as we are in the conference finals - that is my definition of success - if you are in the last 4, you are a true contender....if you die in the semis.....not so much.

So, I promise NOT to say that if we are in the conference finals...

    :)

PJ is the best for being himself, not being Draymond Green. Copycat to Warriors for Morey simply won't work without same players.

It creates even more mismatches and opportunities if your PF and C could provide assists for others.

So do we. When it was winning time, they went small. Those 7 footers were replaced by a 6'6 Draymond. But I understand your point.

Lol at the moral victories “Just lost by 1” “It was a buzzer beater! We’re just not lucky!!”

well Rockets small ball got us down 7 pts with 2 minutes left

yes we eventually lost at the buzzer but if PJ misses his 3, we would have lost anyway

dont forget we relied on Tucker to make that shot

I'm still skeptical about small ball

Regarding the comparison between PJ and Dreymond.

Dre averages 16 mil /yr (not over paid) and maybe slightly under. He's praised for his defense. At the beginning of the season when Steph went out, I wondered if he had another gear. Turn it on, maybe try to be an all star reserve. Even with D Russell and the young guys there was certainly more shots to go around. Could he carry the team as the #2 guy. This year, he's averaging 8.4 pts per game and 28.3% in FG3%. Career 32%. I know they're tanking but I guess he could still do it efficiently.

PJ is averaging 8mil /yr, IMHO, is playing above his contract.

You know your season is over when the “savior” is Jonah Bolden.

Let’s see....criticize the Rockets style over a 3 game stretch without Westbrook one game, no Bruno, Eric Gordon there one game and leaving early the next game (+ missing the 3rd game) and Covington getting
    adjusted to his new crew.

    Bumpkiss!!

In the playoffs Westbrook plays every game (no B2B’s), Eric Gordon should be healthy as well as Bruno giving us a solid 15 minutes of rim protection (build a lead and help maintain it)......Covington will be
more comfortable. Plus one more buyout coming.....at least.

    First Take is satire

Judging the Rockets Small-Ball over 3 games and 4 critical components missing from the equation.

That’s like me judging the First Take crew with just Stephen A Smith......no Kellerman and no host.
    SAS talking to himself

When basically you have to put your PG into the Center's "dunker's spot" in the offense yeah not a lot of options.
