Does anyone know if mobley is going to play friday? If he doesn't, memphis might have a chance beating us unless kenny comes along to save the day!

The answer is "possibly." The trainers don't think Cat will be able to go on both ends of a back-to-back. We happen to have one of those with the Grizz in Memphis on Friday, and the Spurs here (Compaq Center), Saturday night. If he can only play in one of these games, which do you choose?

Probably the grizz. Let's face it, w/o Francis or Mobley Houston's roster isn't any better than Memphis'. Even with Mobley, San Antonio has a substantial advantage on us.

I'd rather the Rockets go for the win that's in their grasp rather than lose both.

The sooner the better. The Rockets are boring to watch without Cat and the Franchise.

We probably don't need Mobley against the Grizzlies. We played pretty good without him against the Kings.
I disagree with that. The Rockets are still fun to watch without Franchise and Cuttino. Kenny Thomas and Moochie and sometimes even Cato are pretty fun to watch. Kenny Thomas had some great dunks and blocks against Sacremento, Moochie has amazing handles, and Cato can throw it down hard.

No offense TMo, but they are the last credible source I would check. Let a BBS'er find out for ya. They actually know what is going on. Or the chronicle might have something...

Chronicle did say Wednesday that Mobley is doing better and that he might play Friday vs the Grizz if he continues to heal ok.

Idea- go over to Westside and see (spy) if MObley is actually running around. In fact ask some players.

We don't really need Mobley against the Grizz, because as well as Rodney Buford is doing (no iddig, he's great), I think Torres can handle him. Moochie and Tierre will hold their own against Jason Williams and Brevin Knight. At C, it could go either way. At PF, both teams will score big here. SF is where the battle will be won.

    Good Luck Rocks!

I hope Mobley returns for the SA game!

You guys think Jesus will get the best of Moochie? We'll see..
