Pretty much every coach for every NBA team is viewed as a terrible coach by many of that teams fans. Coaches are just an easy target. MDA is the same coach that coached the Rockets to 65 wins last year. No, he is not a bad coach.
He did fine this game, but you can't make players put in the effort, box out and make shots - that's on them.
IF MDA pulls another 7 man rotation in this years playoffs then I'll be onboard the 'MDA is a bad coach train' Until then I reserve judgement RIght now he is just a regular coach with a fun offensive philosophy who is very bad with timeouts
No he is a top echelon coach who has a stubborn streak. I would have put House on Klay when he got hot because House knows all the defensive schemes we run and would have done a much better job then Shumpert
No, he just lacks an attention to detail that bites him in the ass at times and seems like a poor motivator of men.
if you dont get the effort - you put em on the bench until they decide to give that effort... thats a coach's job... When we were short handed due to injuries - then you gotta grin and bear it - but that aint the case at this point... coulda put in House, coulda put in Clark... but MDA is stubborn... he has his game plan when the game starts - and thats what it's gonna be - period.
