I agree, such a crybaby. Also don't want Chris Paul, not feeling the baldness. Also we should release Harden, knees are too pointy.
Simple question. Would you rather win with Harden, Paul, and Melo...or hypothetically trade those guys for Lebron and Durant? I would hope it's the former. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to win with "our guys" instead of cherry-picking the current guys who keep going to the finals. Hell I'd rather have won it all with Bev, Dekker and those guys. Home-grown. But obviously we had to make the Paul trade and I'm realistic about acquiring the requisite talent. And I think if we add a piece like Melo we're right there with the Warriors. But throwing Lebron in? That's just like the Durant b*** move. It's not fun to me.
At the moment you are either with the Warriors or Lebron. There's no conceivable competition so your preference is impossible. I agree generally--I am not a huge Lebron fan. I like him a hell of a lot more than I do the Warriors. This is basically our only hope for the next 5 years.
Thank you for a reasonable response. I beg to differ though, I think adding Melo to our current roster is enough to get to the WCF and have a shot against GS
I hear what you're saying. I love the thought of winning with "our guys" but IF you can have all the best players you go for it. Winning is always fun ask the Warriors fans...
Plus the added factor of the satisfaction of sticking it to the Warrior bandwagon nation. Those fans need a good comeupance.
Warriors didn't think like you and they got their trophy back. Lebron could have had another ring if it wasn't for KD. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have 60% chance to win than to have 15% chance to win.
I get that. But at what cost? I would be happy if the Rockets got Lebron and won a title. I really would. I just can't imagine having the same level of satisfaction as I normally would
I'll let you know how I feel after I'm sipping champagne from my Championship locker room hat, and streaking down Richmond.
Or not have the satisfaction at all. I bet u would have even more satisfaction with last year's crew, but It ain't gonna happen.
We are looking to overtake one of the all time most talented team ever, you need to do anything to get close to their talent level to have a shot.
What does winning a title 'normally' feel like? Seeing as how your profile pic is Blink 182 I am guessing you were an infant when we last won a title.
