Which begs the question, why did the idiot raptors trade Shaq to the grizzlies?

    I disagree.

He's better than modern day Shaq.

If he replaced Shaq on inside the nba there would be a radical improvement in the discourse of the show, even if Jonas handicapped himself by talking with a mouthful of marbles.

Shaq has gotten better. He doesn't take the jokes as personal as much. He is willing to laugh at himself instead of getting petty.

You should never mention Jonas Valanciunas in the same sentence as Shaq and it makes me think you never saw Shaq play. Players change nba playing style tendencies, just like retirement of Shaq and Duncan and rose of Steph/Harden shifted game outside i guarantee you no one would apply switch-all and small ball schemes against Shaq-led team. Just to think Shaq would be defended in the post against Harden/Tucker/Capela makes me scared lol

In the last few games, even the rockets had to sub in nene, the warriors did the same thing with bogut. If you don't, he will murder your smalls. Which is what he has been doing.

He is garbage on the defensive end though. Make him play against P&R or against big that has range and Jonas would end up on the bench faster than Charles Barkley eats his churros.

Curry is largely garbage on the defensive end and so was harden for a long time, both are on still playing. the grizzlies have a stopper that can clean up mistakes (jaren jackson jr)
