If i remmeber correctly their was talk of Harden throwing chairs, kicking and breaking tables in half after game 2. I dont know how true that is, but i do know Dwight and JET said that he was really upset and while he was mad," the whole time players on the team kept telling him," they believed in him". "Who Cares what they say, you our are MVP"

Stephen A. Smith said it bothered James that he lost the MVP to curry and that his sources told him that he wanted to stick it to curry on a national stage by beating him in the wcf, i believe if we were fully healthy last year the series goes 7

Thats why when Harden exploded in game 2, that was the best i have seen him play as a rockets in playoffs before game 4. I think James left everything out there that game, their was so many calls going againist us that game too. The teams were so evenly matched because of Hardens level of play

Anyways anybody have any truth to that rumor

Is that the game where he wrecked everyone and then shat the bed on the last play

I would have tantrum too if I were him, he played so well that night, if only he scored the game winner instead of fumbling it

True champions have tantrums when they lose.

Dirk did it the year before he got his... and the Miami due (and their pet raptor) as well.

Did Harden use up all his power in Game 2 and that's why he was so terrible in Game 5?

I would have done the exact same thing. Howard passes to the opposite corner, its Brewer wide open.

I think that was when the Rockets really lost the series. Harden didn't recover from that loss and played like crap the next game at home.

Harden did everything he could in that series. Other players just didn't step up. We had ONE playmaker + Prigioni.

Even Harden played like crap during game 3. You can blame the other players all you want for not stepping up but the fact is that it all starts with James. James alone kept us afloat for the first two games. He was a different guy after that game 2 loss.

Tantrum? More like he let his emotions out because he had the chance to win the game but blew it. Harden will learn from that mistake I'm sure. I'd be more worried if he didt react at all after that game.

Let's forget game 4 ... Not even Lebron could score and facilliate efficiently versus Warriors without playmakers. We didn't choke, James played more than great (3/5 games) and they were just better.

Yeah it's probably true but it's not a big deal. Especially after all this time.
If he had just accepted it without emotion would be the reason to worry. Players who want to win, are upset when they don't. Players who don't really care that much, don't.

James games 1-2 is different from post-game 2. That game 2 loss was devastating to him. All I'm saying.

I don't remember hearing that he threw a tantrum and was breaking tables and stuff.

The only thing I saw was that he casually knocked down a paper backdrop. And it wasn't some kind of aggressive anger. He petty much just tapped it and it fell over.

But who knows what he did in the locker room. I just don't remember hearing that he threw some kind of a tantrum.

He should've had a tantrum after the 13 turnover game & the Clippers game 6

I seem to remember Olajuwon eyeing the MVP trophy when presented to David Robinson, then going off on the admiral for about a billion points.

If Harden plays like that and we can't win then it truly was a hopeless series.

Gonna go ahead and say no chance he was "breaking tables in half", but yeah he was probably pissed. I'd be concerned about Harden if he wasn't pissed.

Well personally this is a lot better than not caring if you won or lost. I hope it was true because IMHO James really deserved the MVP last year, he had a team missing 3 starters and carried the Rox to the 2nd best record in the West.
