I'd rather go get Anthony Davis or Nerlens Noel. Cousins doesn't improve switch D or rim protection one lick.

If Capela had Trez's motor he would be a star, resting too much on D. He's also lost a bit off bounciness around rim and no where near the lateral agility he had when he first arrived.

I see what's going on with Capela.

His goal was to play more effective minutes per game so he has been working on his conditioning. In the midst of that the coaching staff and specifically CP3 has demanded Capela to become more vocal and be the leader in the paint on defense.

So that has caused Capela to use more energy mentally and physically. I don't think he is ready to handle all that responsibility right now but the team is pushing him into it developmental wise which equals what we have been seeing in preaseason... a lot of mistakes/tiredness thay also causes him to get pushed around more.

'Dumb as hell'. Totally out of line. He's simply getting outplayed, doesn't make you dumb.

Now ryan Anderson looks like a full blown r****d when he's choking out there.

Man, seemed like the Clutchfans' tides have turned against Capela almost overnight. Are we sure we are not rushing to judgement here?

i'm sure after a few weeks he'll get his conditioning down, so at least he'll be more mobile and explosive than what we see now. but let's face it, his man D is not going to improve. he's just too meek to be that enforcer type of guy on a regular basis for us. and his ballhandling/passing/shooting are never going to be great (or even good) for a big man either. on the plus side he's generally a good finisher, injury free, and gets along with everyone. depending on the matchup, he can be effective. problem is against the top teams in the west he's pretty much overwhelmed by guys like draymond, lma, KAT, or even adams. like i've posted before, if morey thinks we'll have to break the bank for him this summer than we might as well see what we can get for him between now and the deadline b/c burying ryan anderson money in the desert again will just doom this franchise.

This is ridiculous. He's not a star obviously. He works hard as f*** on and off the court, never lazy. Still learning, and doesn't seem to be naturally an excellent defender.

He is still a great fit as a scorer.
He is still a very good rebounder.
    Decent shot-blocker.
He is at least as good defensively as the 4th or 5th best starter on any championship squad.
Don't underestimate the impact Anderson and Harden are having on making him look bad. Kevin Durant is a mediocre defender, see how good he looks on this Warriors squad defensively.

They are running Capela into bigger minutes. I think he's going to exceed expectations FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE SEASON. lol Who the F improves that often. It's rare. He's young and hard working.

4 years ago, Vucevic was the same player he is today. Clint has improved every year. Guess where this is headed.

This is why have Nene for the low post threats. For what Capela is currently being paid, he does a very good job.
