He is also shooting a better percentage. Just wait till he takes 100 more shots...

7 blocks so far. If this was an attempt to make Battier look bad, you failed.

So far 4 points, 3 rbs, 2 asts, and 7 blocks  !!!!! (and still 1.5 quarters to go)

I would say this was the wrong night to try and rag on Battier. He is killing it out there.

Not ragging on him. Making him look better.

You should do this everygame lol! Shane is extra good defensively tonight.

Perhaps he just needed a little recognition. :p

Even fantasy owners, the most stats-obsessive people of all, can't possibly stop smiling at Shane's 7-block statline tonight. Do you have any idea how valuable 7 blocks are in fantasy?

    OP you fail hard.

Seriously. 4-22? That's ridiculously horrible. Batman made Evans his ***** and was really the only highlight of this godawful game.

I always figured that Battier was going to destroy Tyreke...is he honestly the only one who has figured out that Tyreke drives right, dribbles right all the friggin time? It's like the guy has absolutely no left hand. Leave it to the most cerebral defender in the league to be one of the only ones to exploit that.

One of those games where Battier looks like an elite defender...if only he could do it every game...

Shane timed Tyreke's every drive perfectly. I bet Shane did some serious video scouting before the game. Tyreke didn't know what hit him before he got annihilated. LOL

That's how a physically limited but smart player can neutralize a physically gifted player.

I haven't watched Evans play at all this season.. Battier made him look foolish.. How does someone like that score 27 points? he's not a good FT shooter he has no jump shot.. Is he really getting all his points off drives?

We always say Battier is a genius.. Sometimes I think he just uses common sense. Batt just sat 3 feet away from him the whole game and Evans laid a huge egg..

He shut Evans down. Had 7 blocks in the game. Him and Scola were the only Rockets who came to play.
