might pick this up later...whats worrying me is how it seems you;re stuck learning BnB combos by yourself? i mean theres tons of vids/tutorials...sounds like it takes some time to learn all what you can do
More notable is Aquaman's fighting ability in that clip -- very realistic and confirming all expectations.
It would have a lot more talk if it didn't have a shitty DLC model. Many gamers like myself boycott games with day-one DLC, and wait until they are bundled on sale down the line.
sooo either i'm just really awful at fighting games or this isn't the "easiest fighting game ever" did the tutorial last night and my god. im not sure if its glitchy or what but i had to skip a handful of the moves they wanted me to try because i just couldnt do em. i think it may have been buggy. one of the last moves they talk about it being able to roll backwards after being knocked down as an evasive move. so it tells you to perform that move by hitting back and literally any button on the ps4 controller: square, triangle, box, circle. so i go to do the move, its a timing thing like all of them are so im hitting back and square its not doing it. i'm thinking maybe im not timing it right. so i try about 12-15x more. still can't do this move. so i go let me try using triangle instead. first try boom got it. idk. also it seems you have to use the dpad in this game. theres no way you could use the joystick and be accurate. i'll try the tutorial again tonight but my goodness was that frustrating.
Get used to the d-pad, give her the old college try, and you will be good at this game before you realize it. What character did you choose?
umm i only did the tutorial i got the game late and didnt have time to play really. the tutorial has you using batman. i got it up and running now. i'll take another crack at it
gonna try story on easy we'll see. idk some of the moves seem kind of hard to perform? again i was looking for a button masher...seems this game is more about being precise.
it'll feel like a button masher as soon as you get the special moves down. really all you need is 2 or 3 special moves and 1 or 2 combos to spam. I promise it's a very easy game that will feel easy if you play it for a couple of days. It really is way below mortal kombat, street fighter or any of those
yeah im gonna have to do the special moves and combo tutorials a few more times. its on easy so its wayy too easy...i mean i don't block but im not worried about that right now. i tend to just throw a combo of soft, medium, strong attacks then use my special and have gotten to chapter 5. some of the other characters are cool though. was able to get multiple hit combos with them much easier than batman in the tutorial
i did not. i didn't know anything about this game until i saw some people playing it on twitch. looked pretty cool and got good reviews. figured i'd give it a go
how do i level up characters in the multiverse? a lot of the objectives are requiring level 15+ characters. is the battle simulator the way to go?
Im about to fire it up and see. I've just done a ton of ranked matches, beat the story, and done those multiverse objective things
