Absolutely it is. D'Antoni's offense is kinda similar to the run and shoot. It can be very good at times, but has problems in tight games and goal line situations.
Watching any elite team's ball movement vs chugging 3s is night and day. That goes for Toronto, Boston, 76ers, Milwaukee, GSW, Spurs, etc. etc.
Harden is incapable of moving his feet when the ball isn't in his hand. It really limits the Rockets options for any Princeton style off ball movement type offense .

people are victims of the present. Harden is 29% from three in the last 5 minutes of a game. We can create better offense than step back threes 4 ft behind the three point line with tired legs .
No that's not true for anyone that's played the game at any sort of level. There are bad shots. If you're for bad 3pt shots over good ones you're not for the rockets winning more games. People are bumping this thread arguing that a fadeaway off balance 3 is a good shot, or converts at the same level as an open 3. It doesn't get anymore bizarre than this.
Weird how we have a better offense than all those teams except Golden State, the team with 4 all stars.
Our pace is much slower than all those teams. They can get more shots up while also playing better defense.

Harden's 3pt percentage in the 4th quarter is low enough where when you properly weight 3 with fg% and 2 with fg% the 3 suddenly isn't the more efficient shot .
An open 2 is a better shot than a contested 3. How we don’t have any sets besides drive-and-dish or the pick and roll is beyond me.
