I'm glad Lebron isn't coming

    There...I said it.

Let the hard path to a title continue ... like the path Hakeem and Rudy took. No gimmes via Lebron.

The true feeling of "How sweet it is!" shall return; a visceral feeling Lebron wasn't going to impart. A Lebron ring would be more like Garnett's hollow "Anything is Possible!"

While I wish we could have traded for Lebron, I'm glad we can move on to what should be a very exciting summer for us:

    - What do we offer Chris Paul?
    - Does another team give Capela a huge deal, and will we match?
    - Are we able to keep Ariza and Mbah a Moute, and at what cost?
    - What do we do with Ryan Anderson?
    - Who are we targeting with the taxpayer MLE?
    - Who could be this years Mbah a Moute...ie great role player at the minimum?
    - Gordon extension?
    - Signing Melton to a 3 year deal?
    - Butler chatter?

Lots to keep our bellies full over the next few weeks.

Lol who wouldn't want the best player of this era on their team. Like any Rockets fans would complain about winning a title with lebron

we not completely out of the mix yet if morey can just get rid of Ryan Anderson somehow then we are still an option but even if we don't get lebron there are other free agents out there who may come here maybe boogie cousins who knows

i'm with HP on this. we didn't need a Lebron to beat the Warriors. We just need to continue to incrementally improve our team. We were the best team last year and if we can upgrade the 4 spot and retain Capela, we'll be the best team again next year ...right back where we were ...challenging the Warriors for NBA dominance. This is Harden's team. I like this team. We will get to the promise land. Morey just needs to continue to add pieces. he never needed a savior like Lebron.

I just want the Rockets to improve their margin for error. Impact players does that. Doesn't have to be LeBron. But additions have to be made where we are living in a world where GSW has 4 all stars.

Pray and hope that Lebron stays in the East. I'm assuming that hard path to the chip includes fights against Lebron + crew, GSW, and then Boston... I rather not. Best case scenario at the moment... Lebron goes to Philly or stays in Cleveland. Showdown to the Finals: GSW-ROX and PHI/CLE-BOS.

Yes to other free agents, but I think Bima and many others have stepped us through it: if he didn't opt in, there was pretty much no way for him to end up in our unis.

Sorry, I can’t get behind this sentiment. Especially if the Lakers do get their Christmas miracle and end up with all three of LeBron, Kawhi and Paul George. I just want the Rockets to win a championship and getting LeBron while retaining the core of a 65 win team would’ve pretty much assured that.

Now, the Lakers, a Western Conference foe, may be a couple of steps from leapfrogging the Rockets in front line talent. Not a good outcome at all, unless LeBron stays in the East (unlikely).

Because LeBron has already signed with the Lakers? There are a few options out there that, if he's serious about still being in "championship mode", are leaps and bounds better than going to LA.

There is no title without lebron.

You guys aren’t looking long term. The Lakers are about to be a superteam for the same time window that we will be. But it doesn’t even matter, GSW is probably going to continue to add pieces, such as Dwight, Jamaal Crawford..

The Celtics are looking to acquire Lenorad.

We aren’t in good shape salary wise or assets wise. LeBron was our savior. Without him we are absolutely doomed.

The spurs will not trade Kawhi to the Lake show. And Lebron + Paul George is still not better than Houston. It's still Golden State for bust.
