This is funny because all of my parents and their friends in sun city are voting McCain. I doubt Obama gets many 60 year old votes...they are from a different generation. DD
my parents live in sun city also and are voting Obama. My wifes grandparents in Tennessee are also voting for Obama, that one kind of surprised me.
My very active and healthy grandmother, who had her 20th birthday this past February 29, who was pushed into the Republican Party by Truman, thinks McCain is too old to be President. However, she thinks Obama reminds her of a car salesman, and doesn't trust him either.
LOL Your grandma sounds like mine. She is 83, so a bit older. Said that McCain is too "in" with Bush and too old to handle the stress to be president. She also said that she doesn't trust Obama that he is a terrorist and he will take down the country if he wins. Then she proceeded to tell me she might as well not vote.... I offered the suggestion of voting Nader
This is a cleverly disguised ageism thread. Or a cleverly disguised thread to identify the non-libpig minority for future retribution. EDIT: well we know that McCain is going to get at least 11 votes in November. Woo hoo!
okay...so I'm 35. do I click on 25-35, or do I click on 35-45? I guess I'll pick 25-35 since that has more votes.
Interesting that McCain has a high concentration so far in 25 to 35, where Obama is spread more evenly. Of course, the poll isn't scientific.
If the number of respondents in this poll provides any indication of a vast "silent majority" waiting to vote for McCain, it is not looking good.
