Really only CP3 should hit mid range shots since he shoots like 50% from mid range. Most players are not good mid range shooters. CP3 is one of the best ever.
Idiots can deny the importance of midrange all they want, the fact is those timely one or two makes from the midrange could decide the result of the entire game. You don't have to make many of them, but when the threes and layups are not going in, that's the only option left. Thank god for CP3.
"idiots" arent denying midrange. its the fact that there was nobody good enough to take them besides harden. the real idiots are the ones who allow players to do something their not good at. theres a huge difference. the minute the rockets got cp3, everyone here knew he was allowed to take midrange shots bc thats a huge part of his game. quit trying to make yourself feel better. weve heard enough of your whining yesterday and today about harden for stupid reasons
No one is arguing that having Chris Paul's mid-range isn't an asset. But this thread wasn't "Chris Paul should take open 2s when he gets them (which is obvious and like...duh) it was an argument that the Rockets would suffer if they ignore the mid-range. Which is BS. The Rox are winning specifically because they ignore the mid-range game and take high percentage shots. If you want to change the thread title to "Chris Paul should take open 2s when the 3 ball isn't falling", everyone will agree with you.
what the fook are you talking about? Nene, Ryno, Gordon are all capable midrange shooters. And we lost that Spurs series because we didn't take any advantage of open midrange shots, which was r****ded the more you think about it.
gordon is a midrange shooter? lol no. nene and ryno take midrange shots here and there as a last option on broken plays. and for good reason.
oh how did that work out for NOLA. again quit trying to make yourself feel better.you have no point here
There was also Lou Williams. Stop trying to defend this r****ded strategy which eliminates 80% of the half-court... nobody is asking to center the entire offense around midrange, but just not completely eliminate them, especially at the end of the games when defense gets much tighter
you literally have not named anyone worth being an actual priority. lol this r****ded strategy has the rockets sitting with the top record in the league and a top offense didnt just start this year either.
no you ignorant fook, last year's Houston was bunch of mentally challenged YMCA r****ds. This year we have CP3.
last post. no need to waste anymore time with an armchair and this hilarious topic theres a reason why you're sitting there behind your little computer crying about harden and the rockets system night in and night out. just continue to do so to make yourself feel better. thats as much as youll get to do
you're pathetic little ego is hurt because CP3 has single-handedly destroyed your brain dead fantasy about getting rid of midrange
no need. the rockets are rolling right now on all cylinders. going to enjoy this team as much as possible.
What make you have the delusional thought that EG "made plenty of them" in NOLA? In fact, EG averages 0.84-2.27 per game from mid range in his career, 37.1% mid range FG%, low volume, low percentage, terrible mid-range shooter.
