If you do a drug test, does it mean you got the job?

Depends, My friend just got a job today, but is going now to do the test.

Most likely yes. If you are already doing a drug test/background check, this is normally part of the onboarding process. Most companies would not pay for a drug test if they did not want to hire you.

 

Yes. They usually set up the drug test after they've offered you the job. That's what happened in my case.

 

At Pizza Hut, if you pass the drug test they hire you the same day.

If they're willing to spend the money to test you, I'm thinking they'd be pretty serious about hiring you. However, in my experience, the only jobs I've ever been drug tested at were pretty ****ty. Strangely enough, all of the high paying jobs I've gotten asked me if I'd be alright with it, but never tested.

 

Yeah, go ahead and blaze up right before the drug test, you are already in.

 

You can do coke but not weed. Coke is out within a week but weed stays for a month.

 

I've seen people do drug tests and then not get the job (to my knowledge they didn't do drugs... lol).
