You have to take in account all various factors that applies to players such as injuries ,etc....

    C-Dwight Howard
    PF-Amare Stoudemire
    SF- Lebron James
    SG - Kobe Bryant
PG - Deron Williams , pains me to say this cuz i love CP3's game

    C-Howard
    PF-Lebron
    SF-DWade
    SG-Kobe
    PG-DWill or CP3(can't decide)
LEbron is skilled enough to play the four, and dwight howard's presence makes up for the height lost.

And yet none of you in this thread seem to be accounting for the fact that there is only one ball in an NBA game. How are you going to satisfy multiple perimeter players that always need the ball in their hands (Lebron, Kobe, Wade, Durant) along with two post guys, one of whom is very serious about getting his touches (Stoudemire)?

I really like jvu's lineup except for Wade. I just don't think he could play with Lebron for an entire NBA season. I would want a lock-down defender and good spot-up shooter to round out the starting five. I think Michael Pietrus might be good in that role. So here is my five:

    C Dwight Howard
    PF Pau Gasol
    SF LeBron James
    SG Michael Pietrus
    PG Rajon Rondo

I'd run Yao at the point because he is a Point Center.

If it was a 1yr run I would have Nash at the point. Y'alls lineups lack 3pt shooters and may cause spacing issues. Nash would open everything up for the other 4 stars while also being the right guy to get the ball into the other right guys hands... his defense wouldn't matter much, you'd have Howard patrolling the paint and James hovering on the weakside.

PG: Rajon Rondo. It pains me to do it, but he is an excellent point with solid defense and though he lacks a jumper, he makes up for it in just about every other way. Plus I expect him to do less shooting and more cutting on this team.
SG: Dwayne Wade. A beast at getting to the rim, finishes extremely well, athletic as all get-out. Not to mention he's very clutch and great at fighting back up from a score deficit.
SF: Kevin Durant. When he's on, he's on, and little can stop him from making anything anywhere on the court with his incredibly fast trigger.
PF: Tim Duncan. He's getting up there in age and doesn't produce as well as he used to, but he's an extremely solid big man and you can rely on him to deliver (just don't ask him to make free throws).
C: Yao Ming. I'm a Rockets fan, and I feel that while Dwight delivers if you want athleticism and rebounding, Yao is a far superior offensive weapon that can demolish just about any other center and has amazing defensive impact that is never truly reflected in the scores.
