If you could add one former Rocket not named Hakeem to this team, who would it be? The way we got that player (draft or trade) still applies so they would be the same age when we got them. Also, it's your call if you think someone like Yao would have lasted much longer and not been as injury prone had we had a serviceable backup like Capela to limit his minutes.

There are two Ralph Sampsons. Also, are we talking prime here?

We are talking about when they became Rockets. So Barkley would be old as opposed to Yao who we drafted.

If we r talking in their primes and no injuries, then had to be Yao. In today's Era, Yao would master the 3 pt shot and defenders would have to respect his shot. The floor would be so stretched, and his pick and roll would be unlike no other in the league today.

    His defense ain't bad either

Prime TMac baby . I dislike the guy's personality and what he became later on in his tenure , but when we first got him ( before injuries) he was arguably the most talented player on the list .

Also , think of both tmac and James together . Basically like durant and James but James is better now than he was in OKC and tmac is a better defender and ball handler/ passer than KD .

    We would be unstoppable.

Yea I would go Yao because of small ball and especially the Warriors. Ppl outside of Houston don't realize how dominate Yao was becoming.

Easy choice. 3x MVP "Chairman of the Board" Moses Malone.

Obviously Jerry Lin first choice and T-Mac follows closely.

I actually think Moses is a somewhat more interesting option than Yao. Both guys would theoretically have trouble adapting to a D'Antoni team in a Warriors league. But with Yao there are clear gimmicks (fronting, making him guard outside shooters) you can use to limit his effectiveness and eventually beat his team. With Moses, though he may struggle guarding stretch bigs too, he is going to absolutely murder you on the glass and there is no conceivable way to limit that.

Lowry, while not as overall talented, was a good one to include because he would have very good skillset synergy with the current squad.

Voted for Dwight. He is a game changer and be a huge difference maker in our team that would tip the scale our way against the good teams in the playoffs.

I would have to go with Moses. Much longer career, just a true warrior. Would still have concerns about Yao's feet and injury status. Mo would be a nightmare matchup for anyone in today's NBA.

Dwight is a champion no matter how any season ends. And remember he won’t let anyone tell him anything different.

    In this NBA?

T-mac in his prime. That would be like adding Kevin Durant to this team.

building around a center won't win you a championship now.

Easily Moses--the other guys weren't even close to the best player in the league. Moses was the MVP.
