I think the rockets cannot have two PGs who take starters' money. There will be an issue on the court and in the locker room. Lowry wouldn't be happy to be a backup here. If you want to keep Lowry, you will probably have to let Brooks walk next summer. If we only could keep one, Brooks or Lowry?
I'll be surprised if this poll doesn't end up with Brooks getting 90+% of the votes. Seems like the obvious choice to me.
I voted Brooks because he fits in with our first unit too well. Lowry is a tempo changer and is the catalyst to our very important second unit.... but hey, we can only keep one.
Brooks beats him on Offense, butu I trust Lowry in the 4th Quarter of games. I just think Lowry has a niche for the game that is very rare to find. I don't care if my pg can't or will try to score 20 points a night. Give Me LOWRY!
Lowry is a better playmaker, while Brooks is a much better scorer. Lowry reminds me so much of Rondo. I thought if Bosh came over, Lowry would have been the better fit with the team. That being said, I'd rather keep both unless the Rockets are looking to make a superstar upgrade.
I think Lowry is a better 2nd unit PG compared to Aaron Brooks being a starting PG, if that makes any sense to people.
GOOD QUESTION, I honestly don't know. Gun to my head, I say keep Brooks but Brooks trade value may never be higher because of his salary and potential. Tough Tough call but again give me Brooks and Morey will find another quality backup or.... TRADE FOR RUBIO!!!
I voted Brooks...lets face it this poll is one sided based on the sheer fact, we have never seen Lowry play 30+ minutes a game with the starters. IF Brooks was only 6'7...he would be a great SG.
Considering Brooks is about to come up for a new contract and the board is acting freaked out about $6mil to Lowry...they are gonna when they see what Brooks wants. So I say for final price..... Lowry.
