Swift. Suppose to be the next Garnett, maybe more athletic then Francis (if thats possible), younger than Martin. Plus arent there some questions still left about Martins knee

I wouldn't pick either one. The hype about them is making them worth more than they really are worth. Instead I'd trade down to Chicago for their #4, #7, and swap our #38 for their #32, then:

<OL>[*] take Prysbilla with the #4, trade him to Portland for Oneal and their #28.
    [*] Orlando would take Fizer
[*] Atlanta would take Miller or Alexander
[*] We take Miles with #7
    [*] take N'Diaye with #28
    [*] take Porter with #32
    [/list=a]

We'd end up with Oneal (C/PF), Miles (SF), N'Diaye(C) and Porter(SF). That's a better haul than either Swift or Martin, since we are rebuilding and can let these guys grow.

I don't believe either Swift or Martin will be any better than Miles, although Miles will take longer to get there. I think I agree with Jordan that Miles is the pick of this draft.

It occurs to me that even were Chicago to pass on Miles at #4, he won't get past Atlanta because their new coach is from U of Illinois and must be enamored of D Miles.

If you can't recruit them, draft 'em!
