If the rockets draft a small foward. . . ?

If the Rockets draft a small-forward/guard won't that eventually hurt them re-signing mobley and Anderson (when he becomes a free agent) or will that help us?
I don't know why, but drafting a small-forward/guard, will make Mobley and Anderson think twice about signing.
